The Gypsies are back!! Well, not exactly Gypsies, more like vendors and craftspeople, but back they are for the 40th anniversary of Gypsy Caravan—the annual Memorial Day shopping fair, presented by the St. Louis Symphony Volunteer Association!
One of the Midwest’s largest antique, craft and flea markets, Gypsy Caravan will take over the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). Vendors from more than 20 states are expected to set up shop at the North County campus. The St. Louis Symphony Volunteer Association is a long-time client of Geile/Leon Public Relations, a St. Louis PR Agency.
NEW THIS YEAR is the Children’s Corner—adjacent to Lot C it is sponsored by Radio Disney and will be open from 9-3. Open to children 12 and under, the Children’s Corner is FREE. The Children’s Corner will feature crafts throughout the day, and have a Radio Disney live show from 10 a.m to noon. The Symphony’s Instrument Playground committee will demonstrate Symphony instruments from 1-3 p.m.
