Pretium Packaging 12oz Digital & Social Campaign

Challenge

Pretium Packaging developed an innovative Glass Alternative packaging product line. This new offering looks and feels like glass, but is made from more cost-efficient and easily recyclable plastic. In order to drive traffic and sample requests as well as develop leads, Pretium Packaging engaged with Geile/Leon to support this marketing initiative.

Solution

Geile/Leon developed a comprehensive, phased digital and social campaign focused on building initial awareness of Pretium and the new offering (phase 1) and ultimately driving conversions and sample requests (phase 2). Our digital efforts included Google SEM support (keyword and search text ads) as well display and retargeting campaigns. 

 

Social efforts included LinkedIn website-click-objective paid ads and an organic social content strategy. We developed dynamic display creative that aligned with the established Pretium brand and incorporated clever, playful and bold headlines and messaging to draw attention to the campaign.

Results

Through a cohesive digital and social strategy and aggressive management and optimization, the campaign surpassed all industry benchmarks across all KPI categories. Pretium also came to an agreement with a new customer for a large-scale order stemming from our campaign efforts. Additionally, as a direct result of our digital and social campaigns, Pretium has received such a large demand from the food and beverage industry that they are in the process of developing an entirely new product line and distribution channel to cater to the demand. 

Pretium and G/L are continuing with digital and social efforts to support the 12 oz glass alternative bottle, and look to build on this existing momentum.
