The Challenge

Lindenwood University’s LCIE accelerated degree program was one of the first in the area designed specifically for working adults. For over 40 years the LCIE program has helped more than 20,000 students earn their degree. In recent years, there has been a national decline in evening school enrollment – mainly due to students just not having enough time.

With constant family obligations, extended work hours and a lack of disposable income, students need an option that will allow them to achieve balance in their lives.  Knowing this, Lindenwood University challenged Geile/Leon to increase awareness of their program, highlight the key benefits of the LCIE program over others in the area and, ultimately, drive enrollees. 

The Solution

Geile/Leon launched a TV spot communicating the flexibility of Lindenwood University’s unique adult evening program. Because classes meet only one night a week, students have six nights to focus on everything else in their lives, whether that be family, work, time with friends, etc.

And, even more, Lindenwood University offers personalized financial aid packages, so every student has the opportunity to advance their education. The TV spot features four adults who are getting their degree through Lindenwood and, most importantly, keeping their life. 

The Result

The Get your degree. Keep your life. TV spot started running at the end of the summer in 2014 and Lindenwood University has seen a 6% increase in enrollment for fall 2014.
