With over 200 degree programs, 80+ clubs and organizations and a wide-variety of departments and marketing needs, Lindenwood University was experiencing consistency and identity issues from a branding standpoint.
Because of the irregularities and lack of a true identity, Lindenwood University challenged Geile/Leon to:
• Develop a new brand promise that they could justify, support and most importantly prove
• Create a consistent brand identity to unify all of their creative marketing, branding and strategic efforts
• Build awareness of the new brand and engage and gain support from key internal and external stakeholders
Through a comprehensive brand discovery session with Lindenwood University leadership and the development of a detailed brand architecture platform—Geile/Leon developed the “Like No Other” brand identity and a consistent creative approach that could be rolled out throughout the entire University. To ensure consistency was met and supported, Geile/Leon also developed a thorough set of brand guidelines that would provide structure and guidance around their new brand identity.
Lindenwood University fully embraced the new brand identity. You can now find “Like No Other” on every branded element on campus— from business cards to parking stickers to school signage. The Leadership, faculty, staff and students developed a newfound enthusiasm for the new brand identity and consistency has returned to Lindenwood University’s marketing and advertising efforts. Each day they challenge themselves to be “Like No Other”.
